Born in Mexico City and raised in Dallas, Texas, Karen Barrett brings a unique cultural perspective and deep understanding of diverse markets to the real estate industry. She relocated to East Texas in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the community she now proudly calls home.

Karen began her real estate journey in 1998 as an office manager at Tricor Commercial in Dallas. It was there that she recognized a growing need for representation in the Hispanic market. Driven to make a difference, she earned her real estate license in 2000 and joined Henry S. Miller Commercial’s International Division. One of her key roles included leasing for La Gran Plaza in Fort Worth, a major redevelopment project successfully repositioned to serve the Hispanic community.

In 2023, Karen joined Real Estate Marketing with a renewed passion for serving clients across East Texas. Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, Karen brings over two decades of industry insight, unwavering integrity, and a commitment to putting your best interests first.

Fluent in Spanish, Karen is also active in her local faith community. She leads a Spanish-speaking group through Bible Study Fellowship and is a member of Hope Fellowship Church in Longview. She and her husband, John, are the proud parents of seven children: Nissah, Christian, William, Jonah, Annah, David, and Isaac.
